PENN. just cheated their ass off. They dropped their DE into a zone and the refs didn't call it. Not surprising, though as the refs are ridiculously biased. No wonder Ohio can't win this game...

I've watched most of the game and I'm not buying "the refs" excuse. Ohio should be winning this game - a PSU WR is playing QB for PA for crying out loud - but they've given up too many big plays.

A 14 point lead in the 4th quarter has disappeared.

It's widely known many Ohio High School coaches believe the Big 33 refs favor the Penn teams and have been jobbing the Ohio teams for years.
I have called for a withdrawal from this sham and staged Penn State showcase for some time. Screw 'em! We don't need them and their game.

No doubt that's true for the past. But the game I just watched should not have been decided in the last two minutes. The talent disparity was evident for the entire game except for CD's runs for Penn., and a number of "interesting" calls by the refs. And it's not like I'm the only one who witnessed this.

I don't know where these refs come from, but I'm guessing they are all local. So maybe they do care? But the reffing was just awful in this particular game.

That no call on the PI before halftime was flat out laughable.

Newsome and Linsley had great games. Newsome caused the Penn coaches to stop playing one of their QBs. Penn started tackling Newsome to slow him down.
Linsley was a beast inside. I know he's coming in as a O linemen but maybe he switches to the D line.
Fields made some catches but the Penn DBs were excellent in open field tackling.
Fellows made some plays.
Hall looked out of shape.
Bellamy plays too high and got moved around too much.
Longo I didn't notice.
Newsome is clearly going to be a star!
And Linsley will surprise many.
