  • So the process starts in two weeks or so sounds like it is going to be about the same as it was last year as far as how it is set up. But a friend of mine who is on twitter sent me a text and this comment is on the new OSU Alumni twitter page.

The alumni ticket lottery registration period starts on May 1 in two weeks. Seventh-three percent of alumni tix are for Navy and USC.

Just thought that was interesting that USE was in the top two of where alumni tickets were coming from.

Anyone know when they will be notifying people?
If you won the lottery and got tickets to a game your credit card will be billed sometime this month and you'll be notified sometime at the end of June or in early July. BTW, the alumni association is reporting that 39,723 applications were placed for alumni tickets.

Do chances increase or whatever if you didn't "win" last year?

I'm hoping I get something after getting shut out last year.

I also entered the lottery for the batch of USC tickets that Arts & Sciences has for their reunion/tailgate. I'm really hoping that I get a pair of non-USC tickets in the regular lottery so I can get USC tix thru the A&S lottery as well.

Has anyone had a credit card billed yet? I haven't yet, and I'm wondering if that means I didn't win in the lottery.

I was wondering about that myself. Last year, I got an email on 6/16 telling me I had won, but it may be taking a little longer this year.

I went ahead and bought 2 Navy tickets through Fisher College, so if I get Navy in the lottery I'll be looking to sell (or trade).

I know the email said end of june beginning of july. So stuff should start happening soon. They sent out emails last year to people who did not get the lotto tickets, but then hold off on sending those out until credit cards have cleared on all teh winners

They said your card would be billed in June, and you'd be notified of precisely what you received in July.

I'm glad it seems nobody's been charged yet. I've been checking transactions on my bank account first thing in the morning for about a week now!
