Backstrom signed a 10-year deal worth 69 mill with the Caps today.

Just believe me, I don't give a fuck about finding a link right now.

I'll need links for each of those statement, please. Thanks!

The one time I don't click and get the link it ends up not being confirmed. Just a rumor.

And yes, I'm ignoring the Penguins threads for now.

Not NHL, but a rare feat in pro hockey, the Cincinnati Cyclones win game 7 of the ECHL semis after losing the first three games.

Cincinnati Completes Historic Comeback

PRINCETON, N.J. ? The Cincinnati Cyclones completed their historic comeback tonight, defeating the Reading Royals 1-0 in Game 7 of the American Conference Finals. Cincinnati is the first team in the 22-year history of the ECHL to win a seven-game series after trailing 3 games to 0.

The Cyclones are just the sixth team in professional hockey history to win a seven-game series after trailing by three games joining the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs and 1975 New York Islanders of the National Hockey League; the 1960 Rochester Americans and 1989 Adirondack Red Wings of the American Hockey League and the 1999 Orlando Solar Bears of the International Hockey League.

Cincinnati advances to face the Idaho Steelheads in the 2010 Kelly Cup Finals, which begin on Friday at Qwest Arena in Boise, Idaho. The Cyclones will be looking for their second Kelly Cup title after capturing the championship in 2008. Idaho looks to join South Carolina as the only three-time Kelly Cup winner following championships in 2004 and 2007.

East:

Pittsburgh vs Montreal- Pens in 7 (Halak is hot, you love to have a hot goalie at this point of the season)

Boston vs Philadelphia- Philly in 6 (I got a feeling about this one)

West:

San Jose vs Detroit- Sharks in 5 (Detroit is completely gassed after the Phoenix series)

Chicago vs Vancouver- Chicago in 7 (something tells me)

Well 3 out of 4 ain't bad....
