2008 U.S. Army All-American Bowl - Jan. 5th

Rivals (free)

"The matchups"...it gives the edge to DeVier Posey over Robert Golden, Terrelle Pryor over Lynn Katoa, Mike Adams over RJ Washington, and Marcus Forston over JB Shugarts (who will have help from Habern likely). Never though about Shugarts vs Forston and considering guard isn't Shugarts natural position, he could be in for a long day against Forston. I agree with Rivals, he is a Warren Sapp clone...however, I do think JB can hold his own, especially in the run game. Adams vs Washington will be very interesting as well. I expect Adams to be a top 15 player in the country the way Rivals is all over him and he is very deserving.

As a side note, I wonder if Posey not starting is simply a mistake? By all accounts he is dominant and should be starting. I expect him to move up in the rankings on both sites as well.

1)I think if Adams handles RJ Washington he's gonna vault all the way into the Top 10 on Rivals, and probably become the #1 OL... Pretty crazy given how stubborn Rivals was with even putting him in the Top100... But i can forgive them since they've seen the light and been very complimentary of Big Mike this week.. Burton and Farrell are loving this kid now..

2)Shugarts will get his lunch handed to him if he's 1 on 1 with Fortson.. they need to double him every play.. he's a monster

Yeah, that's really not a fair match-up due to the severe leverage and strength advantage Forston has on J.B.

For sure and J.B.'s not even at his natural position, so I see Habern helping out a lot. Forston is stupid good.
