2008 tOSU Spring Game (4/19) & Practice Discussion

Halftime observations:

I love the quicker, shorter passes to relieve pressure on TB. But TB has to be careful not to telegraph. I like what they're doing with this. Lots of great possesion guys to get the ball to. Several balls though almost picked on the short balls.

Todd looked great when he got going. He's definately in command and moves the offense. But his picks continue to concern me. Great INT by Coleman on the first one, but it was a little behind. Lead him a little more and no pick. The second was a bad decision. He got big pressure up the gut and tried to dump it right up the middle. So far, TB looks by far the most polished. But he just can't turn it over like the end of last year. Teams are going to bring the heat like crazy on him this season.

Brian Hartline looks awesome. He's gonna have a HUGE year. He's got it all...speed guy and a great possession guy. A lot like Gonzo.

Henton didn't have any time to throw at all. Hard to really assess him in his first half of work because of it. But he got some nice yards on a scramble and threw the ball away when he had to.

Bauserman looked great. First time I've seen him. Looks very poised and threw a nice ball. But, he didn't have any pressure on him really.

Didn't notice much on D. I'm an offensive mind after all.

Oh...sucks to see Hines limp off. That didn't look good!

I didnt see an injury, can someone please explain?

Someone rolled in to Hines' knee, which caused it to buckle. He immediately fell and started to grab his knee, in obvious pain. He was then helped off the field. Doesn't look good.
