2008 BPCFFB4 Official Season Thread

2 reasons...
1 - Bucky Katt asked early on if the season for our purposes started the 6th and it's my recollection the answer was yes...

and

2 - in doing so, we won't be playing the last full week of the season .... ie Michigan week.

I am moving this discussion to the main thread so we won't cluter the Week 1 thread (if one of our mighty mods wants to move those discussions over here that would be appreciated)

But I don't recall that question being asked (about it starting on the 6th) and I am too lazy to go back to check

Yeah, not having Michigan week kinda sucks and didn't realize it til yesterday. But there is another way to do this versus expanding the playoffs to 8 teams. We can make either the 1st round of playoff games or the Championship game get 2 weeks of stats. (ie Week 12 & 13 determines who plays in the championship or Week 13 + Bowls determine the champion)

My firewall at work won't let me see Kinch's spreadsheet, which doesn't make sense, since it appears to be an attachment and not a website, but screw it...hopefully I will be able to get to it at home and email it to myself so I have it.

I like that idea

So... do we have a score sheet that everyone can open yet?
I don't think so. What are the bonus changes. If that's the only thing that changed I think I have last years that I can tweak.

I'm not the commish anymore....but I think Mondays games still count for week 1. I believe this is the only monday of the year that has games.

What did we say counts as a week? I have some teams playing Sunday (08/31) and Monday (09/01) and want to make sure those games count as week 1.

Really how many Sunday/Monday games are there? Yes the Sunday/Monday games this week count. And for further reference a game week officially starts on Tuesday - Monday. That should cover us.

BKB - I have the spreadsheet... but I fail at every attempt of posting the excel spreadsheet or the zip file to a post. I just must suck or something.
