It's been roughly 6 months since Clarity so graciously bestowed upon us our own private torrent tracker. I think I speak for everyone by saying we couldn't be more thankful to have a guy like Clarity who could take the time out of his day to slave over a hot server and put together whatever magical technology was required to give us "free" Buckeye content, distributed on our own terms.
While we haven't had blazing activity, due to it being the off-season and all, I think for the most part this project has been successful, and people have been able to get whatever game they want simply by asking for a seed. When the 2008 season starts, and we have new content to put up, I think the private tracker will really start to prove its worth.
So, for 2008, I think we'll be set for providing and seeding content to the masses (especially the BTN games). TimBUCK2 as far as I know should be able to do his thing again. IMO, he doesn't get enough credit for what he's been providing for us. So, when you get a chance, rep him, give him vCash, or do whatever you can to show your appreciation. It's no trivial matter what he does.
I, on the other hand, am packing up and moving across town next week. So, I'll have to disconnect my server for a few weeks, until I get my connection back up and running. On top of that, I want to build a new box (faster processor, 1 TB storage , more RAM, latest version of Ubuntu etc.), which could shut things down for maybe a month or so. Everything should be back up and running in time for football.
