Not a smart thing for the Brits should look back at the Jamaican runner in the 4 x 400 semi final relay and put his finger to his lips. Now there is some talk that the Jamaicans might run Bolt in the finals which might Great Britain raid out of any chance for any metal.

Turns out none of it mattered.

I don't understand why NBC does interviews with the atheletes who don't live up to expectations like Warner. Or make a mistake like the relay teams. There have been at least 5 times I've seen these interviews (Shawn Johnson, an american diver, women's 4x100, Warner, and Alicia Sacramone) and I'm sure they have done it many times that I haven't seen. It doesn't make for good TV, shows no class, and makes just makes NBC look like a-holes.
Well, NBC did bring Jim Gray back to cover some of these Olympics...

anyone else upset that nbc seems to refuse to show certain matches live. The Men's Gold Medal Volleyball match is going on now against brazil, and right now they're showing table tennis that happened last night between two chinesee people. Who the f*ck cares!

Well here's a good one for ya too:

North Korean Shooter Has Medals Stripped After He Was Caught Doping - Olympics

Can't help but wonder why a shooter needs to dope.:(

From the article:

The International Olympic Committee said shooter Kim Jong Su tested positive for propanolol after winning the silver medal in the 50-meter pistol and bronze in the 10-meter air pistol.

Propanolol is a banned betablocker which can be used to prevent trembling in events like shooting and archery.

Having done some competition rifle shooting in high school, the trembling is very important. A big edge if prevented by drugs instead of by will.

Our 9th ranked men's water polo team takes on top-ranked Hungary for the gold today. These guys came out of nowhere and kicked Serbia's ass 11-5 after being held to 2 goals the first time they played them.

There was talk the Serbs tanked a match versus Italy to draw the USA in the semis instead of the Hungarians. Be careful what you wish for...
