I haven't listened to that asshole in a year and a half now. He did both Syracuse games in the CBE tourney, and I watched them both on mute. Dan Shulman has the worst job in America.

Haha, how true, how true. Dickie just put Duke ahead of UConn, I think Hasheem Thabeet would probably dunk about 30 times on Zoubek.

Listening to Vitale verbally blow the ACC/UNC/DUKE/Hansborough is torture to my ears.

Vitale is going to have Hansborough's kids anytime now.....

UNC doesn't miss. It is ridiculous. Plus Hansborough is allowed to do whatever he wants in the paint, and if it looks like a foul, they call it on the defender.

They have to be heavy favorites for the title...

Things that travel more than Hansborough include the Moon, the Earth in orbit around the Sun and the Milky Way Galaxy in that order

I always can't stand when Dukey V goes on one of his rants about how the alternate possession for tie-ups is a grave injustice to college basketball. No, jumping for possession is a grave injustice to basketball. It unfairly gives a built in advantage to the taller player. So if you're little guy, what's the point of going for the steal if you're not clearly going to gain possession of the basketball within one second? Your effort goes completely unrewarded. At least when they alternate you earn half a possession and there is no bias based on something players have no control over.

As far as the MSU-UNC goes, I realize that the Heels are the undefeated, undisputed, #1; but Sparty looks about 2-3 levels below in their own state. The sky is blue.....Water is wet.....Michigan State is overrated.

The Big Ten could be winning this damn thing if Iowa didn't suck, if Illinois didn't choke or if scUM could have held a lead :shake:

Illinois was at home, too. :ohwell:

ACC-Big Ten Challenge

No. 15 Wake Forest 83, Indiana 58 -- James Johnson scored 15 of his 21 points in the first half, and Wake Forest (7-0) forced Indiana (4-3) into a season-high 26 turnovers. It's the fifth time that the freshman-laden Hoosiers have committed at least 20 turnovers.

Maryland 75, Michigan 70 -- Greivis Vasquez had 23 points for Maryland (5-2), which improved to 5-0 at home in the ACC-Big Ten series.

Used to be, since they never call it the rule for traveling was redefined in the ACC :p
Darn good thing for Purdue, too, since their players didn't fail to drag the pivot foot for a single possession against Duke.

I must say I cannot see all the hate against Duke and UNC. They are clearly two of the best 5 teams in the US this season. I love to watch them play - and especially Hansbrough. He is special as a college player. Don't lie - you'd love him if he were a Buckeye.

I think the two conferences are closer in talent as a whole but their is no question their top two teams have seperated themselves from our top two teams.......

Michigan State and Purdue did not represent the Big 10 well but then again they were going up against 2 top 5 programs........
