2007 Signees That Failed To Qualify (Rivals)

Nope. 16 commits total, 13 "Delaying enrollment" and 3 "Did not qualify".

Isn't this an indication of some major issues in their recruiting priorities??? I can't imagine the Buckeye message board if our recruiting process resulted in NOBODY!

Auburn with 10??? These places need to rethink the type of young men that they're looking at representing their school.

First off, I am stunned that Florida qualified all 27 of their signees. But now my question is, if Florida has 27 signed to LOI and none of them failed to qualify, then what? They cant take 27, are they just going to tell two people who signed LOI that they are out of luck?

Florida to Recruits; "Sorry! We don't have a scholarship for you right now!
But, if you stick around for a year or 2, maybe(after we re-evaluate your ability) we can fit you in!

And kids fall for this crap? :(
Crazy!

wouldn't mind seeing some of those team rankings for the 2007 recruiting classes updated given this information.

Also, Florida was able to get all 27 in because some early-enrolled and could be counted back to the previous year's class...at least that's the story from a couple Gators I know down here.

While i think some of these #'s are utterly disgusting, especially the SEC and Oregon State (Reputations are earned, not freely given, and they definitely earn theirs)...i think of it in the light that let them continue to basically waste their time and resources on recrutiing these kids that only have a 50/50 chance of making it in, while Coach Tress and his staff focus their efforts on kids they are confident in...just my $.02

This is the type of stuff which should be mentioned on the various college football shows about the SEC, instead of how they are the strongest and best conference. Let the general public know just how shady things can be in the good ole' South...
