  • Got it started right after Oliver made his verbal. Right now, there are only about 10 or so prospects loaded, but I'll make a concerted effort to catch up after Super Bowl Sunday. You may wish to bookmark the page, especially once I get it current...it's a good tool for quickly finding threads on prospects.

Loaded about 20 more prospects, including all those we have offered (that I could find anyway). I also updated Oliver with four stars since he was in Rivals top 100 although they didn't have a star-rating assigned to him yet.

Now that the Super Bowl hangover is gone, hopefully I can catch up soon...

Haven't dug into it much myself, but how many scholies are we going to be giving out to the 2007 class?

As BuckeyeSoldier pointed out above, we should have 17 left following Oliver's verbal. The best way to track that is to use Oh8ch's Scholarship Breakdown by Position and Recruiting Class, which breaks down all the players on scholarship by position and class.

I also added 11 more prospects to the database...still a ways to go to catch up.

    I have a question.

How would I go about to getting one of our players(at my HS) added to this list.

He has been getting looks/visits at the school from various colleges already, including Ohio State.

So would he need a thread first?

    Another Recruit

There's also this CB from Chicago named Marcus "Miami" Thomas from Chicago who we've been pursuing hard lately. Got to see his film and he plays like a young Antrel Rolle/Sean Taylor. Athletic and Speedy, 6'0 165 and play with a Miami "swagger". Also has a nice frame. According to rivals, Tennesse and Illinois have offered. Could be that next "super threat" when Ted Ginn leaves. Comes from Morgan Park High where they had Demetrious Jones (ND), Ramone Johnson(Tennessee), and Chris James(Illinois) which all of whom where 4-star recruits.
