New Rivals HS All-Star Game: Offense-Defense

I didn't see this posted anywhere. It looks like this will be a competitor to the Army All-American game in San Antonio. Rivals will be the 'Official Selection partner', there will be 80 players in an East-West format.

It will be called the All-American Offense-Defense Bowl, and will be played at 5:00 pm on January 4th in Fort Lauderdale, at Florida Atlantic's Lockhart Stadium.

Army AA game is on Jan 7th, with festivities beginning on the 1st. It will certainly be interesting to see how they divide the talent amongst the 2 games, since it will be pretty impractical to play in both. I guess it's good to get more kids involved, but I'd personally prefer to see one "big" game with ALL of the top players.

Having said that.... I'll be watching for sure

Time to get a thread going about the other All-American game...

Hines and Scott will not start but will rotate in at LB and CB respectively. Jeremiah will start at DT. Article also talks about Saine's running style compared to Enrique Davis.

By Crabtree...a complete breakdown, position by position, of both the East and West rosters. Saine will see some time at RB. Hines will likely start opposite FSU commit Kendall Smith at OLB. Scott wil be part of a four man rotation at CB.
