2007 O-Line discussion

The O-line, and the offense looked much better today. The O-line answered at least some questions I think. This was just Washington, but I felt like they showed great improvement today.

UW defensive lineman frustrated by lack of pressure on QB
By John Boyle

SEATTLE ? Apparently, there was some heated discussion Sunday when Washington's defensive linemen watched film from the previous day's loss to Ohio State.

"[Sunday] we watched the film and kind of got after each other a little bit," said defensive tackle Jordan Reffett. "We made a lot of mistakes."

Paraphrased from the Mike Adams story on BN

Mike discusses how Coach Bollman finds the five best OL first...then considers positions.

We've talked about that philosophy before, but it was interesting to see confirmation.

The o-line had their best game in a long time, possibly the best in the Bollman era. Strong words, but considering the opponent, their rushing defense rank, and the venue, I think they are deserved.

Your right on with this post Daddy. With each game any O-line just has to respond and get better and by the time the last game rolls around they should be in cync. They are coming along just fine and i expected this and ya just have to give Kuddos to the assistant Jon Petersen. I think he is a
plus for Jim Bollman. Ive never seen such a huge O-Line as we have now.

11. Purdue Led by G Jordan Grimes and C Robbie Powell, the Boilermakers have been solid up front, but would have ranked even higher had they been able to handle the pressure applied by Ohio State and Michigan in October.
:slappy: That's some stellar logic, Richard. They got blown up by their two quality opponents, but they are better than almost everyone.
31. Penn State ... 34. Ohio State
 Thanks for clarifying that you don't even bother watching the big ten when they are on national TV in primetime.
