2007 NCAA Tourney vBet (Pool)

Due to the malfeasance within the administration of last year's pool.....okay that didn't really happen.......

This thread will keep a running tally of who, in what league, has donated the 50 vBucks to be considered for winning the pool of money I collect.

BETS MAY BE MADE UP AND UNTIL 12:00 Noon Saturday

As holder of cash, I will take no cut. I have entered a bracket, but will not contribute any vcash and have no stake in any outcome.

Donate v$50 to me, tell me which league you're in in the donation and I'll keep a talley. Once the tourney is over, the person who has the highest score of those who particiapted in the bet will win the pool.

There will be 2 payouts, one for any monies ear-marked for the Yahoo! pool, and one for the vcash earmarked for the BP Turbo-tourney pool.

If the winner did not contribute the necessary vcash to the pool, the payout will go to second place. If 2nd place did not contribute, it will go third, etc....

As a reminder, although the tourney starts tomorrow, vcash entries will be accepted up until noon on Saturday.

As it seems that the turbo-tourney may fall through, that vmoney will be refunded sometime tomorrow.

As a twist for this year's tourney, and to make it a little more lucrative, I am going to match the amount amassed in the pool if (and only if) I fail to win the tourney.

If I have the best-scoring bracket, the second-place finisher gets the amount in the pool. If I fail to net the highest scoring bracket, the winner gets twice the amount in the pool.

And before you money-grubbers get too excited, I must note that I notched the highest score last year (of all BP brackets) and finished with the 2nd-highest the year before.
