Acie law first senior. I posted a long time ago that the senior class was weak as heck. Maybe, 1 or 2 more in the first round. That sucks.

Well that is bound to happen, considering all these kids leaving early and what not...I think these days we can lump the senior and junior classes together...

With that said there are a couple nice seniors in the draft with Acie Law, al Thorton, Jared Dudley, Aaron Gray, Morris Almond, Derrick Byars, Alando Tucker, and Rashawn Terry to name a few...

I posted that along time ago when all that talk about all those FRESHMAN buckeyes might go or stay. I really think this is the last year that a few seniors get drafted at all. College BB is now a true minor league for the NBA. MONEY talks

actually it looks like I didn't have the full story either. from wikipedia:

2006-2007
On June 28th, the Trail Blazers traded Telfair along with center Theo Ratliff and a 2008 second-round pick to the Boston Celtics for guard Dan Dickau, center-forward Raef LaFrentz, and the 7th overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, Randy Foye, who was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves for the 6th overall pick, Brandon Roy. On April 24, 2007 Celtics managing partner Wyc Grousbeck announced that Telfair's nameplate on his Celtics locker had been removed and did not expect him back for the 2007-08 season.[3] However, unless he is waived or traded he remains under contract with the Celtics until July 1, 2008.
[edit]2007-2008
On June 8, Danny Ainge stated that it is still possible Telfair will remain a Celtic.[4]

Great pick for the Bulls getting Noah. He has hustle and heart and the genes. He'll be a great replacement for Big Ben. well, they don't play the same position, but they provide similar skills.

I won't be happy having to root for him, but I have to agree that he was the most sensible pick at that spot. I've compared his skills to Marcus Camby. Length and quickness with limited offensive skills entering the league.

It will be interesting to see how he tones down his antics in the NBA. The majority of opposing crowds will be ready to boo him the minute he steps on the court.

I like what Atlanta has done in the first round. They took Horford, the most talented player on the board, and the #3 spot although they needed a point guard.

They gambled and won that Acie Law IV would be there at #11, and he was. They filled their need with a point guard, getting a guy that can shoot and plays great in the clutch.
