My favorite sporting event of the year. I would love to see Freddy play well too.

Go away Junior...find another thread to mess with.

Agree with all three points. Love the place. Here's a good choice by the committee too. Link
?We are absolutely delighted that Arnold has accepted our invitation to become an Honorary Starter,? Payne said. ?This is wonderful news for the Masters and his legions of fans.?

i am very surprised with the high scores. i watched a lot of interviews and pregame coverage and can't recall anyone predicting this. when courses play like this it brings a whole different crowd into contention, because one really good round and you can jump half the field.

I think they got some rain down there last weekend, so soft for practice rounds, then.... It's dry now, I saw many dry spots on green slopes and surrounds, indicating no water on the greens. And it will only get worse. They won't be watering the greens unless death is imminent, for the Bentgrass that is... Watch for some strange things this weekend with the weather. Nothing spells fast bentgrass better than wind and cool temps.

Anyone see Darren Clarke's putt on the 18th?
Literally putted the ball about 50 feet to the cut line, it then took a 135 degree turn in the opposite direction and ended up traveling another 20 feet to the hole within 2 feet. What creativity!

I've played several high end tough courses, but can't imagine playing this course in tourney conditions...I'm afraid my vision in shot making would be the overall weakness in my game, regardless of how well or terrible I was striking the ball.

i know exactly what you mean. i had a buddy who could hit chip shots and putts on courses with really fast greens in ways that i couldn't have imagined. he's actually played augusta national and he said the whole course is like that. phils bunker shot on 13 yesterday comes to mind. he hit it about 40 feet right of the hole and it ended up within 8 feet. i missed clark's shot, wish i would have seen it.

i need tiger to finish with a couple doubles today. go vaughn!
