Doctors are going to have to detach a cell phone from Robert Gary's ear. He's talking, talking, talking -- a fast-paced man with more words than time this week.

Cont...

I have a feeling Gary is going to do some great things for Ohio State track... he has definitely taken the correct paths to get this event back on track. I love this quote in that article:

Gary's ultimate goal is for the Classic to take on prominence approaching the Drake Relays and Penn Relays, annually held the final week of April.
That would be a wonderful thing to see!

The high school meet used to be the premier high school event before State and it looks to be very good once again. The heat sheets show top athletes from all three divisions and from all over the state competing tomorrow... it's definitely a good venue for these athletes to get a feel for the stadium and the track before they make it to the State meet.

BTW, on the "football players running track front" it appears Donald Washington will be long jumping this week to go along with Potokar, Chekwa, and Jenkins running the 4x100.
