2007 Fall Practice Tidbits

Rose and Gholston have to be two of the most intimidating d-ends in all of college football (Lawrence Wilson isn't too shabby either). Throw in our LB's and DB's and the potential for this years D is unbelievable.

And just what has Rose done?
He hasn't played much.
Give him a chance before you anoint him.

#1 I said "the most intimidating" not "the best". In other words, they both look ripped as hell and opposing o-lineman probably get scared just from looking at their pictures. I don't see how that is anointing anybody

#2 what Mili said

#3 I said this defenses potential is unbelievable, not they will be unbelievable (even though I think there's a good chance they will be)

Saine looks like a LBer! Holly!
Gholstin and Rose...just plain frightening looking!
Heyward looks a bit thin. DE?
God, I love how Jenks and Washington look!
Coleman looks small compared to the 2 corners!
I get the feeling the defensive guys really love playing with each other and are really, really excited!

Not getting any vibe from the offensive guys. Got some team building to do there.

Branding. Probably from his fraternity.

Are you all 4 real? That is the Q Dog branding for Omega Psi Phi. What this means is that none of you all are brothas.

Ok my real Question is the Aug 20th practice...Is it open to the public and will it have an autograph session like last year? That was truely awesome.

Here a peak at a video from last year which I hope is something we will see alot of. Henton to Wells. Poor quality but cool in any case

I knew the frat house (anyone who has watched Shaq would know regardless of affiliation).

I also know that there are quite a few that pretend to be Q's, and others, when they really weren't.

Since I don't know if MJ is actually a Q, I responded as such.

(P.S. I'm 1/2 a brotha.......lol)

Buckeyes Open Fall Camp a Team Looking for Answers On Offense
By John Porentas

The Buckeyes reported for fall camp earlier today and will open camp tomorrow in preparation for the 2007 season. When they do they will be a team looking to fill some very big shoes on the offensive side of the ball.

Graduation and early departures always take a toll on a college football team, but its hard to imagine a team losing more offensive skill than the Buckeyes did at the end of last season. Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Troy Smith is gone, game breaking receiver Ted Ginn is gone, All-Big Ten receiver Anthony Gonzalez is gone, and reliable tailback Antonio Pittman is gone, all now on NFL rosters. The mass exodus of firepower probably means that the OSU offense will be very different in 2007.

Buckeye Defense Looking for Help Up the Middle
By John Porentas

Great defenses in almost any sport have one thing in common; they're strong up the middle. You want to have great defense in basketball? You need a great player in the middle of your defense (think Greg Oden). In baseball if you don't have a great center fielder and a great shortstop and second baseman your defense is probably going to be something less-than great. In football, it's the interior defensive line, the middle linebacker and the safeties who have to take care of the middle of the defense.

I just wanted to quote somebody but I was lmao. I was part of the James Rhodes desegregation plan and was schooled even though I am white. I see you at Langley. I was at Norfolk for a while in the Air Force. Much respect to you.

To stay on subject so this is not spam. Also if anyone could answer my last question could I add does anyione know if either the Aug 20 practice of Aug 22 scrimmage is open to the public? IThe earlier I know the easier it will be to have my kids on those days.
