Bastiges!!!

Okay, being that I am not cool, and not fluent in the vernacular of cool-land, I had to look this word up in the Urban Dictionary. Two definitions were given:

1. Name used to describe someone extremely annoying but not worth wasting foul language on.
That boy is one cock-eyed bastige

2. A screaming, gasoline-drenched, blood-sucking, bat-winged cabbage that screeches and swoops down out of trees at night and either,
1) Rips off your head and drains your body of all fluid via the newly created wound, or
2) Misses the intended target horribly (usually you) and plows into the ground, pops like a grape, and spews flaming ooze everywhere. Neither have very high survival ratings.
Holy shit, its a bastige, run!

I am guessing that you are using the first definition, though the second one adds an intriguing element to your post.

Hmmm, I just realized I was misspelling the word I meant. The word I meant was Bastage (after looking it up), which is basically a short way of saying Bastard. It is from when I was little and my mom would whip me for saying bastard. I heard of the alternate saying of Bastage (which I thought was a cool way of saying it), but the way I heard it and always said it I thought it was spelled Bastige. So thanks for looking it up and then realizing the error of my ways of spelling

But that second meaning is pretty cool

Bucky, Letter count, please.... how many letters in: "bastage" and how many letters in "bastard"

Please provide your full analysis.

Yikes. Tough call.....seven letters in each word. Two syllables per word. Hmmmm....the "e" in "bastage" is silent, so I guess that one could say that "bastage" is shorter on an iffy (at best) technicality. I would also venture to say that "bastage" is minimally easier to type based solely on letter location.

Too close to call definitively, I'd give Piney the benefit of the doubt here.

From what I read, your spelling was fine. I believe both Bastige and Bastage are acceptable and recognized by authorities (urban dictionary).
