The online ordering for Alumni tickets wasn't working for me yesterday morning, but I did complete my online order today.

Edit - And now the waiting game begins, I feel great after reading their disclaimer:

Thank you for purchasing your Alumni Football Tickets online!

Please note that due to the large volume of applications received, ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR
ORDER IS NOT A GUARANTEE that you will receive tickets. If demand exceeds supply, the Ticket Office may be forced to switch your order to another home game, switch your order to another price category, or refund your order. The Ticket Office expects to contact you during the month of August if this action is required, but please be aware that there may be instances where you are not contacted about such a change until the very last moment before the game.

M-P Northwestern 9/22
Q-S Youngstown State 9/1
T-Z Akron 9/8

I got my application for Youngstown State this weekend. 23 years of buying alumni tickets and I didn't get a conference game again. sigh.

This is a little off topic on this thread; however, here is another reason to not schedule a Division 1AA team. It really screws over 1/6 of the alumni "elgiable to buy for two tickets to a single game" who get stuck with that game. :(

My tickets just arrived in the mail.

Each ticket has a picture of an Ohio State Heisman Trophy winner.

Saaaaaay, has anyone else NOT received their tickets yet? I should have a couple for Akron headed my way, but nothing yet. Anyone else in the same boat?

I just received (on Thursday) a letter saying my "alumni ticket request" (love that word "request") has been changed from Illinois to Akron (good thing I didn't have plans to come in from out of town), but haven't gotten the Akron tix yet either.

Waaaaa I haven't gotten my tickets yet waaaaaaa! :tongue2:

Same thing happened to me. I had MSU and got bumped to the Akron game. What is going on? I have been buying my alumni ticket for 20 years now and this only happened one time many many years ago. :(

I just recieved a letter stating that the requests for Alumni tickets far exceeded projected numbers and that they could not fill my ticket request this year. They said they would issue me a full refund. I was slated for the Wisconsin game and I think I was too far down on the pecking order (graduated in '05) to be bumped to a different game.

We got bumped from Northwestern to the Kent State game, due to the high demand. :(

same thing happened to my sister and I. Few years, back they took away my MSU for akron u game. wow I was so happy.

I thing I'm lucky about is that I have season tickets so they can't deal with donors. I think ISRAEL owns OSU.
