2006 Ticket Discussion (merged)

www.hangonsloopy.com Right now there are no tickets available, and it's hard to say when any tickets will go on sale. It's usually a week or 2 before each game, if any tickets are available.
FWIW- Public Buy Tickets for game 1- Miami (OH) went on sale Aug. 5 last year I believe. Which was a Friday, 4 weeks before the first game.

So I'm looking for them to go on sale either today (Aug 4) or sometime within the next couple of days.

Just got off the phone with the ticket office. The gal I talked to said they don't expect to have any tickets go on sale to the public via their website.

I hope this isn't the case as I have been able to pick up a few here and there for the last 3 years.

Looks like I might have to go the ebay route again like I've been doing for the past 3 years. $150 per game is not nearly as sweet as face value. :shake:

I got tickets last year the day of the game, but I also saw tix for the Texas game up the Monday before the game, and I think it was the Illinois game that seemed to be up on the site for weeks.

Ditto, for me, on calling the box office. I had one sales agent tell me to keep watching the site, even though he was told that "no tix were available" he said that there would be. He was cool, and he was right.

They'll be available.

If they had them for Texas last year, they'll have them for all the non
Big 10 games this year.

Usually, someone is kind enough to post here when the tickets are actually
available through HOS.com

Last year when I was in the line for my Will Call NW Tickets, we were talking with some other Alumni about how to get tickets. People around us say that the ticket office almost always has extra tickets on game day. Last year for the Texas game people were camped out a 9:00 the night before but there were at least 50 tickets for that game that became available game day morning.

The wife and I were told the last game that they no tickets for sale on game day was the penn state game in 1998.

Now I just hope that sharing this secret does not end up biting me in the rear.

It's already been shared.
