2006 Spring Game info/discussion

Yes, all reports I've seen (message boards & via Steve Helwagen @ Bucknuts) have said that it is today, but as far as time..."sometime this afternoon" is as specific as I've read anywhere.

EDIT

Steve H just post that the draft will start @ 3 p.m.

A couple of people have kind of mentioned this, but to me, I'm really interested in seeing where the players in the secondary are drafted. Defense overall, obviously, but with the LB's we have (and personally I'm pretty comfortable with our DL as well), I think the obvious question mark is our young secondary. Who are these seniors going to pick first at safety? At CB? That's what I want to know...Jenkins seems to be a clear first choice, and I'll say Amos will be second...either way, however, that's what I'm interested in the most.

I don't believe there is anywhere that "real time" info will be shared... i.e. someone sneaking their laptop in the draft room and reporting ala the NFL draft "war rooms", though that would be awesome!

Places like Bucknuts, the O-Zone, etc. will probably have write-ups soon after it ends describing each team and the order of picks and positions taken.

And I'm sure info will be posted here and on other message boards even before the full write-ups as those "in the know" find out bits of info.

I think RB will go pretty high. Whoever picks RB first gets two of the top 3 RB's and the team that goes second only gets 1. If Pittman was healthy RB would be one of the last positions taken because it is one of the deepest on the team. My guess would be Chris Wells, Haw, and Mo Wells. No disrespect for Mo Wells, but I think the team that goes second will rather have a bigger back since that is the only back they will have. If Pittman was heathy I think Mo Wells would get taken before Haw.
