2006 Ohio State Nike Camp

If Saine does indeed switch to WR... then Darren Evans and Jerimy Finch (whom I believe attend the same HS) would be a very nice duo to reel in. I belive we still need to offer both, but Evans just sai we are in his top 2 and he is a big back on the Rivals100 for now. Finch hits like a Mack Truck... and would be a welcomed addition to our secondary :).

Couple observations from pictures and things I have read.

Last year we were high on some in-state QB's early like Hartline, but he was just rail thin, and that really held him back. I think that sort of held down some interest in Belton b/c of how wrong some were last year on Hartline, but Belton looks the part and continues to impress, I still think he has a chance to get an offer, if they don't find someone they like better.

Oliver will have a college ready body no questions asked when he steps on campus.

Peake also looked well put together.

Barksdale just dominated and looked like he could help us out this year. I think he is the number one recruit on the board right now.

Clay looks huge for a rb.

Vincent Browne has a little ways to go to have a DT body.

Joey D'Andrea weighed in at 252, looks like he might be putting on some weight and might get a real close look at camp.

Nice to see Hughes there, he wasnt expected to be there.

Also how does this sound, Peake(4.60) and Hines(4.56) both as juniors. Can you imagine that kind of speed coming off the outside at LB after they have time to put on weight and get that speed down. Keep in mind these kids probably don't have a great understanding of how to run a 40 and get out of sprinters stance.

you also hear oliver say that he wasn't familiar with the track surface, and slipped coming out of the gate, which is why he ran a 4.8. it's possible the surface may have affected some other 40 times.

regradless, if you slip on the start and still get a 4.8, you can move.
