isn't that part of what makes recruiting fun? the anticipation of Signing Day and the chance to snag one more top player? must just be me...and by the looks of the poll, one other person as well.

Ah, yes, now this makes more sense. I'm with wadc45 on this...no surprises makes this whole ordeal anticlimactic...we know we have a great class going in, why not mix it up a little at the end?

Normally, I'm all about the surprises, but I'm with JXC on this one. Gimme the ones we're in on right now (Gibson, Small, Grant, Bowman, ect) and I'm happy. It would be something different for a change, because since JT took over, we've had plenty of surprises on NLOID... and minus the 2002 class, the surprises haven't been good ones (0-7 on NLOID one year- McClover and M.Bush's class)

Seriously though, most years I like getting the kids we know we are getting and one or two surprises. Only problem is in years past we have gotten a truckload of talent early and not much close to NLOID. Problem is it's hard to remember that truckload back in July when you are watching other message boards tooting their own horns because of a couple of NLOID pickups...
