Hmmm...
You have us undefeated in the Big 10, yet playing in a Florida Bowl? I would expect us to be in the Rose Bowl; with an outside shot at the NC game.
FWIW I agree with you about Southern teams never playing north of the Mason-Dixon after September. A few ACC teams will eventually have to play BC on the road in November; but BC ain't tOSU baby.

"A point well taken..." as they used to say on SNL. I keep forgetting that the Rose Bowl reverts to Big 10 - Pac 10 status once the NC teams are picked. Although that seems to get jacked around to whoever TV wants... Texas vs Michigan comes to mind. As for our chances at NC, if we get through this schedule undefeated we deserve a shot, but one loss and you're out seems to be the rule these days.
But either way my case would remain the same, how about USC playing us in Columbus in January? I'd pay to be there. And if the bowls are going to determine 1 through 4 for the year, then it's only fair that there be some geographical parity.

OSU 31, BGSU 0 - BGSU gets zero production with their Qb gone. OSU rolls

No one has scored 35 points in regulation on us since Tressel's been here...no one.
I'll vBet you 10,000 (bookmark this post for future reference) that Texas doesn't even score 30 points, let alone 35. I'll bet you another 10,000 on the side that Texas doesn't exceed 21 offensive points (special teams and defensive scores don't count). Whatcha say?

I don't see us losing any of these games. the two most likely are texas and scUM. But I just don't see it happening in either case.

Look at what we did in revenge games at home last year (48-7 NW, 31-6 Iowa), PSU is losing a ton of seniors. Even though we lose a lot on D, IMO NW and Iowa last year are better teams than PSU will be this fall. I can't wait for that game...

Besides I don't have our team really completely destroying other teams.. I think the scores are somewhat respectable. I just don't really see a game on the schedule that is a for sure loss, and you know if thats the case I got the bucks goin 13-0 for the season! I do admitt Iowa does scare me.
