Where's YOUR Gold Pants?
First of all I don't play the games. They've gottten too high tech for me and I'd rather watch people who are junkies play ie Herbie and Joey! So regarding this 2006 Cover for the "Heisman" edition. Like someone else said, why not put the two time Heisman winner on the cover? B/C most who play the game don't relate to Archie! My biggest gripe with Desmond on the cover and his "notoriety" with the Heisman is this! The fuckin dumb ass doesn't even know how to do the Heisman pose! To make matters worse when 90% of the public attempts the "pose" they do the Desmond version! A disgrace to the whole Heisman Mystique I tell you! Leave it to a UM guy to get it all wrong and everyone "bites" his version thinking it's legit! That's all I have to say!

What's most disgusting is Desmond was one of the worst heisman recepients ever! We all hate Woodson, but we can acknowledge his dominance of the game that year. But Howard is about as worthy as Crouch or a few of the other illegitimate winners in recent memory.

How hilarious is it that in their highlight video reel they don't even have Desmond?

My sentiments exactly. I don't see why everyone's making such a big deal about it.
I know it's a Michigan player, but it's just a game cover.

your thread cracked my ass up though! Maybe DH should ask Archie how to pose. He could show him the real way - twice. Thank you EA sports for endorsing true sportsmanship w/ the Heisman.

Are you talking about the videos that show when you are picking what mode you want to play in? If so, he is in there, and of course it's the punt return vs. OSU. I just think it's funny that they show Lawrence Taylor and a few other players that never won a heisman...although I suppose it is a college football game, not a Heisman game.

BTW...Yes, a clip of Archie is in there.

all the illegitimate winners as well as most of the ligitimate winners have all ended up sucking in the NFL anyways. the heisman is overrated anyways because you might have had an amazing career in college, but it doesnt mean you will do the same in the pros

Hence the award goes to the best college football player......Not "most likely to suceed in the NFL".

You sure about that? I guess I've never sat there and watched the whole highlight reel... but the michigan clip I saw was woodson.

yeah it was woodson, there aint no desmond... :biggrin:. (btw in the Archie clip does anyone know who we were playing? the endzone said USC but the uniforms don't look like them. Or am i missing something completely obvious?)
