(from another BN premium article)Tressel says it’s not a done deal that Smith will be suspended for the Miami game. The QB could be cleared in time for the opener, although that doesn’t seem likely.
On Punts, Ginn will have 99 on the overall..... 99 speed too. It should be easier to take punts to the house.bukIpower said:Also another interesting question for you guys what do you guys think the rankings will be like for our players for NCAA 2006??
I'll say
AJ Hawk-95
Carpenter/Schlegal-90
Ginn-96
Troy/Zwick-88
Holmes-94
Gonzo-82
Hehe, I knew it! I rest my case!bucknut11 said:And if you really want to read into the QB competition from these pics (BuckeyeFromScum)...
I sure hope so. Last year he was around a 97. That's just unrealistic, and I don't know how many times I'd be in the open field and some guy would be able to catch me from behind.Buckeyeskickbuttocks said:On Punts, Ginn will have 99 on the overall..... 99 speed too. It'd be a really good idea to account for the discrepancy between 40 yd & 100 yd dash times. That would allow Ginn's to maintain his speed where others' speed would drop off. I just wish there were differences in speed, or perhaps even a system that would have players run at a random speed every time, where certain players run quite fast most of the time, etc. That would allow more intelligent motion in terms of getting a jump on an opponent (i.e. A WR route) and so forth. Also they need to stop being lazy programmers and remove the extremely retarded "catch up" motion (a defender that suddenly closes a huge gap in yards) used by NCAA/Madden 2005.BearBuck27 said:I sure hope so. Haha, thanks for the info bukIpower, most knowledgeable football fans would of never figured that one out! The spacing thing is just brilliant, how did you come up with that?don't wanna piss you off by saying this but in the drill they're doing a slide shuffle type of thing so Zwick is not behind.... he's just on the other side to keep space decent.
