I will also be there and would love to stop by and say hello. The spring game is always one of the funnest days of the year.
I was down there today doing a little tailgating before the boys basketball tourney. We set up shop at the shoe just because it felt like the right thing to do.:)

I can't even wait for the spring game. Andrews'(7) first time to the 'Shoe.
It's also his first baseball game, but we all know what's more important.

Hope the Kennedy family is hanging in there. It would really be great to meet
some people. Tell me when and where and what to bring and we'd gladly show up. Thanks :oh: :io:

Tailgate - Update

Guys,

Looks like the University is going to have a party over at the Hayes for players, families and friends. I will be attening that and I may be able to get a few extra tickets. Actually, you might just be able to crash it.

In any event, we will be having our standard party before the game. If we do it with Pete Johnson, it will be out by the baseball field, in the RV parking area. Look for the wooden cabin on wheels...

If not, we will be in or normal location, which is at the start of the Buckeye Walkway, where the all-american trees are planted. It is close to the pharmacy building and accross from the band parctice field.

In any event, I will post the location, time and map when we get it all figured out. A month away......

Hey HH...

Any further word on Holmes the DE in prep school in Maine? Last I heard was he passed his test but they were still looking into whether or not he is eligible. What is the hold up, the clearinghouse? Will Tressel put him on scholarship if he is eligible?

I will be there with my 7 yr old as well, let me know and I would love to stop by. Since this seems like a heck of a lot of people, would you like us to bring a dish, chips, sodas..... maybe just a donation to help with the food or something.

I just like everyone else use the $5 game as a judge to when I will start taking the son to the $50 dollar games. As of last year we were still spending alot of time at the concession stand and the bathroom. I tend to get a little testy if I have to miss to much of a real game. :biggrin:

I'll definitely be there with my buddies. I'll prob be over by Bill Davis afterwards (doubleheader with scUM). We'll probably be out partying in the front yard like any other game before... I'm up for stopping by any tailgates though.

a few notables- Schaefer listed as starter at RT, Arden as 2nd team DE (although he is listed as TE on the roster listing while Frost is 3rd team on the other side), Freeman listed as a SAM (some thought he might be a WILL), EJ over Ashton as a starter and Schlegel over D'Andrea

D'Andrea is stil hurt.

Did anyone else notice in the .pdf file (on page 37) that we gave up 29 first downs last year via penalty, vice gaining only 9 that way? That is not acceptable...
