I was trying to think about what I felt after winning that game.

There was a time in the 1960s when you expected Ohio State basketball and football teams to come back from anything. Woody Hayes and Fred Taylor were responsible for that.

The long dark time during the 1990s, you never expected Ohio State to come back.

The media attacks of recent years seem to have driven Ohio State athletics to new heights and brought out the best in our coaching and players.

These guys will lose. They are not the best team in the USA. But I think they could play with anyone and maybe beat most of 'em on a given day.

When I realized that I never gave up on these guys coming back, I realized that we may just be in another golden era like those days in my youth. Wouldn't that be incredible?
