So how pissed am I that this game is during the day on Friday. Don't they know that I have to work? I'll have to see if my buddy is taking the day off for the games and I might have to take half a day. On the bright side teams that I'm rooting for tend to do well on St Patty's day.

You can look at it this way.

We have great shooters on our team, that are going to have 4 days to work on thier shot and get the kinks out. We are going to shoot it no matter what, and good shooters dont stay down for long, and the fact that we have 6 guys that knock it down with consistency, could mean that we could come out smokin' in the tourney.

You also have to figure in that this is finals week, so I am sure that alot of the players will be done with those, they should be rested and ready to go by Friday. I think the stress of finals could of played a big part in the lackluster performances in the Bten Tourney.

I also don't buy the line you live by the 3 you die by the 3.

If it was you live by the jumper you die by the jumper, ok, but it is just like any other team having a good shooter from 18 foot and him not knocking them down.

Well b4 the past two weeks we had been shooting from 3 what most teams shoot just a little better than 2.

They usually have 2 sessions in a day, with each session consisting of 2 games. In this case, the Davidson session would get you tickets for the OSU game and then the game following it. After that, there is a break until the games resume again at 7pm, another session. At least that is how it worked when I went...

This is exactly how it works. 2 sessions on Friday:

1st Friday Session: tOSU / Davidson & Georgetown / N. Iowa
2nd Friday Session: Michigan State / George Mason & North Carolina / Murray St.

There is one session on Sunday matching the winners of the games within each session.

The Sunday session could be tOSU vs. Georgetown & North Carolina vs. Michigan State - that would be a pretty incredible set of games in the 2nd round. Go Bucks!!

We need to watch out for Brendan Winters, he could be one of those great story lines in the NCAA Tournament. His dad, Brian Winters was traded for Kareem Abdul-Jabar, and Brendan actually lived in Hudson, Ohio for about 10 years while his dad was an assistant coach for Lenny Wilkens and the Cleveland Cavaliers. I believe Brendan put up 33 in the conference championship ans was also tournament MVP.

Digger Phelps said something like "Je'Kel Foster and the Buckeyes better start making some 3's or they might lose to Davidson in the first round". I don't think he's met Mr. Terrance Dials aka Big-10 POY yet.

Unfortunately, OSU is percieved as just a bunch of three point shooters, when in reality, they are defined by Dials inside, when he plays well, we are tough to beat.

Tougher to beat when he hit our shots from outside tho.

I think that is why a team like BC could have trouble in the tourney b/c tehy rely to much on the inside game and a team hitting form 3 pt. range can just outscore them.

I think we will go as far as our 3 pt. shooting will take us. Even know Dials will need to be huge, but Foster, Butler, Sylvester, Lewis, Harris, and Sully all need to find the net.

I agree. I think we are a Sweet 16 team if we are still cold from the arc. But, if we catch fire like we did in January and Febuary.....I think we can reach the final 4. People overlook the fact that this team plays fantastic defense.
