#2 Duke +3.5 vs #1 Louisville (ov/un 133.5) Sun 5:05 CBS

Just watched the video...good lord! That's about the most gruesome injury I've ever seen. Prayers for the kid, but at least he's in extremely capable hands there in Indy.

And yes, I've also been very nervous about guys playing on raised floors like that, always have viewed them as a major injury situation just waiting to happen. I always have a little extra to worry about when our boys play at the Barn and other similar courts.

That may have been one of the worst injuries I have ever witnessed, ahead of the Joe Theisman injury IMO, just gross, when you HEAR the bone just snap

*throws up*

I also thought of the Theisman injury when I saw this one tonight.

I'm glad Pitino mentioned after the game that when the teammates were very distraught seeing the kid laying there with a compound leg fracture, Ware was saying "Win the game", "Just win the game!"

Cuse and UM being in the FF is still a pretty bad punch in the nuts. Rooting for an earthquake, hurricane, meteor, etc. is more appealing than either of those two teams.

At this point I am rooting for the Cuse to win. Would much rather see them take it than hear scUM fans for the next year.

I can't even begin to imagine what the Louisville players & coaches on the bench and court must've been feeling when they witnessed that up close. It happened right in front of there eyes & the bench reaction and players falling to the court immediately says it all. Shock. There's nothing else you can feel when you see a significant portion of someones bone sticking out from the skin. I've seen quite a few videos of injuries like this (Don't ask why, just curious I guess), especially in soccer where leg breaks are probably the most common out of all the sports and even I was left sick to my stomach. Appalling.

Really have to hand it to Louisville for responding the way they did after this happened. The game was tied at 42 all at one point & then they just exploded and never looked back. Maybe this inspired them, maybe not, but they really found a collective rhythm as a whole and played magnificently down the stretch. Very deserved win for them & my heart goes out to not only Kevin Ware, but every member of the team for being able to continue on after such a horrific injury to one of there teammates. Always hate to see a young man no matter what team they play for suffer such a disastrous injury like this. Hoping for a full recovery & for this to not deter Kevin Ware not only from his ambitions as an athlete, but for life as well.

I was sitting in B deck for the 1956 Michigan game when Russ Bowermaster suffered a broken leg. The snap was loud enough to be heard over the noise of the crowd. More than a few fans had to fight the gag reflex.

Missed the game last night. Just saw a video of that injury. Wow. Thoughts and prayers for a speedy and full recovery for Ware. Never want to see that happen to ANY player from ANY team. After seeing that, I think the leftover Easter ham will stay in the fridge a little longer........not much of an appetite anymore.
