1979 OSU All-Conference

I am looking for a list of Buckeyes who were football all-conference (including honorable mentions) in 1979. Any assistance would be appreciated.

The all-time all conference players used to be listed in the record book on the Ohio State Football archives page but I don't seem them anymore. :/

When I was doing research to find out player awards for the all-(insert coach's name here) era polls I never found anything beyond first team.

Check the various Big Ten town (and the Chicago) newspapers' websites. I'd bet that at least one of them has their archives available on line. Then all you need to do is scroll through December of 1979 and find the day the teams were announced.

On a related note, it appears as though OSU had four out of four DBs that year who were all-conference first team (Bell, Guess and Skillings) or second team (Ellis). Has OSU ever had a better secondary in that regard?
