Sylvester Mayes seems to be another guy who has really faded since the conference schedule opened up. It seems like in each of the games the past 2 weeks we've seen him come off the bench and fire up a couple of bad shots, then Thad hides him on the bench for the rest of the game. If the Buckeyes are going to be successful over the rest of the season they are going to need another reliable option off the bench to go w/ Lewis.

Some real sloppy play going on right now...

3 consecutive turnovers...

This team will go on a 5 minute run where you have dreams of a Big 10 title run and a deep run in the tourney...

Then for the following 5 minutes they look like they could end up in the bottom half of the Big 10.

Frustrating.

My point about his free throws wasn't a very good one, just piling on really, but I don't expect much out of the guy, but I at least expect to see him hit those...I mean for as big as he is, he really doesn't rebound well, someone said he can shoot well, that may have been the case in the OOC, but I haven't seen him square up and hit a jumper once in the last couple of weeks...

He just doesn't look like he can hang on a Big 10 basketball court right now...

Terwilliger is not as bad as you're making him out to be in Big Ten play. This is what the 5th Big Ten game? He played 2 minutes against Michigan State so he has played in 3 games with significant minutes. He misses one shot tonight and you are all over him. Terwilliger had great position 5 feet from the basket a couple times tonight already and didn't get the ball.

Not watching the game on TV, but at least watching the box score page in CNNSI.com...we're doing the same shit that we did against Michigan State, and that's not hitting the free throws and absolutely blowing the neighbors' cat from behind the arch.

I alluded to this earlier in the 1st half. The jacking up the contested 3's is getting a little ridiculous sometimes. Ohio State has the 2nd best center in the Big Ten. At least look for him first and move the ball around a little. If it is not there at least try to drive on them or shoot a 3 in the flow of the offense.
