I'm surprised I'm not hearing more abou this kid. He's top 25 in rivals and 247 and has indicated OSU was his favorite growing up.

I'm in Texas working with one of my LSU buddies who follows recruiting and think OSU has to be the favorite for this kid.

Hope something is going on behind the scenes.

Might be that OSU has safeties ranked just as high on their board that they have a better shot at getting?

Going up against Virginia for Blanding and other eastern schools for Nicholson will be a lot easier than Alabama and LSU for Jones.

LSU was the main competition for Alabama prior to his early-December announcement, and he had already taken his official to Baton Rouge. This past weekend, along with fellow Louisiana prospects and current Crimson Tide commitments Cameron Robinson and Cameron Sims, Jones and his parents took an official visit to Tuscaloosa.
