Shooting 57% from the field with only 3 turnovers and they’re down by 3. When they hit the dry spell, it’s going to get ugly fast, because OSU can’t defend for shit.

Two missed one-and-ones, including fouling on one of the misses giving Illinois two free points. They continuously find new ways to screw things up.

Big picture, they didn’t play that badly, and they’re still down by 7. I’ll be shocked if it’s within 20 at the end.

Yeah, and Okpara is especially bad at closing out on 3-point shooters. Holtmann is supposedly an advocate of positionless basketball, but this team is clearly very position-oriented.
