After battling injury issues throughout his sophomore year, Chance Harper didn't enter this season with a lot of experience at linebacker. That said, he has quickly emerged as one of the rocks on a young, but talented WGH defense. Despite a season opening setback to nearby rivals Austintown Fitch, Harper played an essential role in slowing down ATH Demitrious Davis, a '12 Pitt commit, who finished 26 yards on 5 carries and was 0-3 passing.
While he doesn't hold any offers as of today, Harper's quick emergence has already captured the attention of several MAC schools, most notably Bowling Green & Akron. More updates coming soon.
