Maryland OL ruled ineligible over academics

Maryland will be without a potential starting offensive lineman for the 2013 season after incoming freshman tackle Derwin Gray was ruled academically ineligible. Gray, from nearby Friendship Academy, was a four-star recruit who was expected to challenge for playing time right away in College Park. Maryland is hoping Gray can get his issues in order for him to return for 2014, but prep school or junior college may be in the cards for him.
