#12 Ohio State 61, Northwestern 52 (Final)

we're probably just cold, but you have to wonder if all of the media obsession over the Matta-IU thing is weighing on any of them. Most wont' be around for the alleged shift, but its an unneeded distraction.

not sure that you can keep lewis out of the lineup after today's game. Been rebounding well down low, creating things all over the place... excellent start to the game.

On a sidenote, those retarded press row seats behind the basket are about 40% full. :shake:

lackluster start, but Lewis gave us a big boost, and we are basically even at halftime. Gotta come out and start playign smarter bball. If we start playing our game (even if the shots don't start falling) and stop turning it over (7 so far) we should be fine.

I think people have their answer for what our offense is like without Sylvester. He may make mistakes at times, but we lose a lot of passing without him.

Well these types of games happen. We just need to work out the kinks at halftime and come out and make some of our shots.

I really think he is going to need to get Twig and Harris or even Bell to steal some minutes in the second half or we are going to be dead down the stretch with all the defesne we are playing.

Hopefully the 3 start going down.

I'd rather see us play terrible against a team like Northwestern than against Michigan St. on Wednesday. What can you say about terrible shooting? Who knows, just keep firing away and eventually some will fall.

The thing that has disappointed me to this point is the sloppy ball handling. Dials has been playing too passively, he needs a fire under his ass for the 2nd half. Lewis has been a great spark for the offense, eventually some shots will start to fall today.

Has anyone else noticed that J.J. hangs in the air way too long on some shots? I understand doing that when you need to create, but not on every jumper.

We'll be alright in the 2nd half, it doesn't say much for Northwestern that we played so bad and still lead by one.
