Humphries with a 'silent top five'

OL D.J. Humphries (6-6 275) of Charlotte attended the USC spring game and has the Gamecocks as one of his favorites. "They are in my top five,"Humphries said. "It's a silent top five." He went on to say that Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee also made the list. He was at the Alabama spring game where he met with Nick Saban and other coaches. "Saban met with me in his office and shut the door," he said. "He spent a lot of time talking to me." Humphries has offers from each of his top schools as well as Clemson, North Carolina, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas and Auburn. Humphries has over 30 offers in all. He noted that he does have some interest in Clemson classifying it as "medium". "I like South Carolina a lot," Humphries said. "I've got a good relationship with Marcus Lattimore. We even talked a bit after the spring game." He did not name a favorite.
