D'Vario Montgomery was a standout at Mike Bakas' recent recruiting combine in Orlando. The Winter Park High junior could become a five-star prospect for next year. Read on to see what he's saying.

Rivals lists verbal offers from Cincinnati, Duke, East Carolina, Florida, FIU, Georgia, Iowa State, South Carolina, South Florida and UCF...Scout lists offers from Florida, Florida State, South Florida, UCF and Wake Forest. FYI, he grew up an OSU fan.

Montgomery taking his time
By Eric Guimaraes

WR D'Vario Montgomery (6-2 205) of Winter Park, FL holds several offers that include USC, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Nebraska, LSU, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Louisville, Central Florida, South Florida, Tennessee, and West Virginia. He is taking ithe recruiting process slowly and has been on only a few visits. "I went to South Florida's spring game and to a spring practice at Central Florida," Montgomery said. "That's about it. They went alright." He will wait until this summer to take more visits. "I may visit some schools out-of-state but right now I am not sure which ones," he said. "I would definitely consider visiting South Carolina." Montgomery is not very familiar with the Gamecocks. "I know they are a growing program and to be a part of something like that would be pretty cool," Montgomery said. As a junior, he caught 46 passes for over 1100 yards and 13 touchdowns. He does not have a favorite.
