If we end up landing Washington, Spence, and Fowler, is anyone going to miss Wormley, Pittman, McMullen, Lewis, Brown, or Strobel?

Yeah, me neither.

I hate losing talented Ohio kids, period. That being said, I love that Meyer can recruit nationally. As long as the national kids get The Game, that is cool.

I hate losing Ohioans to B1G opponents, but that was inevitable with the scandal, after being very unlikely beforehand. this is one heck of a consolation prize (potentially)

Only DE I've cared about so far losing is Pittman. Seen Strobel and think he's overrated, never liked Latroy Lewis, don't have a good read on McMullen, and Wormley was always going to Michigan.

I'd still like to take Pittman but Spence has to be priority #1 right now even with the glaring need for a tackle and LB, he's that good.

Fowler isn't leaving Florida.

Don't want to dampen the Urban hype, but lots of folks are getting excited about his ability to recruit southern kids. He did that while he was in the south. We will see how many he can persuade to relocate.

But I share the high we are all getting from the recruiting buzz.

I love Ohio kids..but I love great players more! Playing HS football in Ohio shouldn't mean youur entitled to a scholarship..NC's seem to be the Holy Grail for most posters on here so don't be surprised if Urban looks outside Ohio for recruits.

Perhaps he will look outside of Ohio for recruits. In fact, I would hope and assume he will. We Are Ohio State, after all. But more to the point... he can and will look outside Ohio, but he doesn't have to look that hard or too far because, as always, Ohio will produce a plethora of talent. Out-of-state blue chips are always the icing on top.

Well theres only one way to find out...If we don't try we'll never get any. IMO he'll be a better recruiter than Tressel and IMO with OOS recruits it will not be close.

I recently caught up with Lakewood defensive end Dante Fowler. He remains committed to Florida State, but when asked how solid that commitment was, Fowler?s answer wasn?t exactly what the Seminole coaching staff wanted to hear.

?I?m going to still take my (official) visits and look around,? Fowler explained. ?On signing day, I should know where I want to go.?

Basically, FSU is great, unless something better comes along.
