Ed Killingsworth
6'3, 190 pounds
Wide Receiver/Cornerback
Warren G. Harding High School
Class of 2011
At 6'3, 190 pounds, Ed Killingsworth displayed huge potential at the freshman level in 2007. There was talk of him playing varsity last year, but due to the "situation" at WGH last year (youth, first year head coach, developmental factors, etc.), it was in his best interest to get his experience with the rest of his class.
Fans in Warren are already excited about Killingsworth's potential, but as of right now, that's all it is until he proves himself on teh varsity level. Ofcourse, no contact with Ohio State has been made, and it would be silly for me to annoint him as thr "next big thing" in Ohio. With that being said, if Killingsworth eventually reaches his potential, it may not take him long to make noise on the recruiting circuit.
While the above has yet to be seen, here is Killingsworth film link from his freshman year. Again, all of these clips are against freshmen competition, but it should be noted that the teams in the film include some of the better programs in Ohio, which include Cleveland St. Ignatius, Steubenville, Lakewood St. Edward, Youngstown Cardinal Mooney, Youngstown Ursuline, and Massillon Washington. Enjoy!
