Tall receiver who uses height well to attack ball. Also a collegiate prospect in basketball and hockey.

Bryant has been hampered by a hamstring injury and his team has struggled to a 2-7 record. He's hoping to graduate early and would like to commit in the summer.

Reynoldsburg's Darien Bryant has had a tough junior season, but that hasn't stopped schools such as West Virginia, Ohio State, Maryland and Tennessee from expressing serious interest in the Ohio standout.

Settling in after his move & getting to know his new team... His coaches plan to play him both ways next season which is exciting for Bryant... He played with a hamstring injury last season but that's healed up... His hockey season just wrapped & he's getting his film out to schools... OSU likes him as an athlete & Coach Gillum is actively recruiting him... Visited with childhood buddy Landon Turner for the USC game... They still talk & would love the chance to play together in college...

I think he's the second best tight end in state, perhaps the best athlete out of all of them.

Kid is very talented. As a Raider alum I'm sorry to see him go but also happy for him because Pickerington has a much better program....also maybe its time to update the 1st post in the thread since he no longer attends Reynoldsburg...

If no Koyack, I bet Hamilton and Bryant both get offers. The staff wants 2 TEs in this class. We've got 2 different types on the roster in Stoneburner (receiving) and Fragel (blocking)... and the staff could be looking for their backups. Koyack probably fits the Stoneburner-type receiving threat, while Vannett right now is more of a blocker, like Fragel (then again, Fragel could, COULD, slide to LT if we need him like Andrew Miller did). Both Hamilton and Bryant seem to be more receivers then blockers, which is probably why they do not have offers... yet. I am skeptical whether or not DiLillo eventually produces, but we'll see.

Not to be totally contrarian, but...

Personally I'd be surprised if either saw an offer...

I'm not a big fan of the Vannett/Fragel comparisons...

I'd be willing to bet he ends the 2010 season with more catches than Ballard had in 2009...

He feels playing hockey has helped his leg strength, endurance, & athleticism... He's being recruited by most as a TE with the ability to flex out & play some H-back... Has faced top competition like Glenville & excelled (scored on Christian Bryant & Latwan Anderson)... No leader, no time table...

Which isn't a completely accurate measure of either player's talent level. DiLillo will be working with a presumably confident and improved TP, while Ballard dealt with a confused kid.

I was simply saying I think DiLillo will "produce"...

Question-
A-Do you think tOSU is shooting for 2 TEs in this class?

B-If you answered yes to A, whom to do you see getting an offer besides Vannett if Koyack goes for the Nits or the Irish? Do you think the staff goes OOS 1st?
