Warren G. Harding High School
Class of 2011

You can't teach size, and that's one thing that Ian Folmar doesn't lack. Last year was his first year ever playing football. Otherwise, he would have got playing time on the varsity level. He went ahead and played with his class last year, and he didn't waste any time learning the game.

Bigger doesn't always mean better. Like all other potential recruits, Folmar is going to need some work. If he trims up a bit as he continues to develop his game, things could get very interesting as his career progresses. I would like to see a more consistant "mean streak" out of him, but he got better with that as his freshman season progressed.

As I have said before, it would be silly for me to annoint a sophomore-to-be as the next big thing in recruiting, especially without any PT on varsity under his belt. With that being said, Folmar has the tools to develop into a special one, so keep your ears open. Film link below.

From my perspective, it would be hard to argue that there has ever been a more enlightening and educational source of information introduced to the recruiting thread than the Bentley Report. LeCharles has the potential to be an asset to OSU football at a level that only Ted Ginn Sr. would surpass. This has already shown itself in the '11 class.

Agree completely. His perspective into the "Big's" has been impressive to say the least.
