'11 OH DE/OL Brad Carrico (Notre Dame Signee)

Scout $ - Carrico Takes In East Lansing

2/23

By Topher Smith...talks about his visit to MSU this past Sunday...Coach Mike Tressel talked about wanting to offer but Coach Dantonio was out of town...plans to visit Kentucky and Indiana...also plans to return to ND for another junior day and their spring game.

I'll say it again...I don't see any way he doesn't end up in South Bend...

ESPN says he has committed to the IRISH.

Defensive end Brad Carrico of Coffman (Dublin, Ohio) has made a Class of 2011 commitment to head coach Brian Kelly and the Irish.

The lineman announced his pledge on Saturday as Notre Dame welcomed upwards of 50 prospects to campus for the first junior day of the Kelly Era.

Carrico attends Coffman, the same high school that produced former Irish players Brady Quinn and Chinedum Ndukwe.

The 6-foot-5, 260-pound standout also has offers from Purdue, Illinois, West Virginia, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Ohio and Indiana.

Carrico registered 74 tackles (eight for loss), nine sacks and five pass breakups as a junior.
