Pitt has landed a quarterback recruit with a name that will resonate with Steelers fans, and the Panthers could be on the verge of getting another who is a Panthers' legacy.

Dublin (Ohio) Coffman's Zack Stoudt, son of former Steelers quarterback Cliff, made a verbal commitment to Pitt Thursday night.

Central Catholic's Tino Sunseri, son of former Pitt All-America linebacker Sal, is expected to change his verbal commitment from Louisville to Pitt this weekend.

The Panthers also are playing host to junior-college dual-threat quarterback Greg Cross of Fort Scott (Kan.) this weekend, and could stockpile players at the position.

Stoudt is probably already better than Bostick. A great get for them.

You have to wonder why he only had four offers and three of them from the MAC. There has to be something the big boys don't like about him.

cheetah, quite simply put, missing much of junior year killed him. Most big schools have had their guys for a while from offers made before season even started. Or, in OSUs case, they are waiting on guys that they have offered.

Good luck to Zack at Pitt. With Bostick, Tino, and now maybe Britt coming in, he will have every opportunity to prove how much the Buckeyes missed out.
