By Trieu...Kiaro and teammate Kris Harley were offered by Cincinnati, joining Purdue, Virginia Tech and Indiana...Holts also has an offer from Kentucky.

Has been quoted as saying he grew up a fan of Ohio State and Virginia Tech...

OFFERS: Cal, Cincy, Indiana, Kentucky, Ole Miss, N. Carolina, Purdue, Va. Tech, Toledo... INTEREST: Ohio State, Wake Forest... He grew up a fan of Purdue b-ball but didn't follow a specific college f-ball team... Planned visits to Va. Tech & Ole Miss coming up... He's open & there's no time table for a decision yet...

Would love to see OSU offer Holts and Harley...

I would like to see offers go out to lineman like they are going out to LB's and QB's in this class

But I gotta agree...Two big guys like this, would hate to see early interest from other schools sour them on us.

Doesn't seem like we can wait till camp with these kids anymore...One or two bigger offers, and they know they don't need to show off their skills.

We need to revamp our camp to get more of the premiere MW kids interested. I don't know why Ohio State can't do something like Florida or USC does to the SE and West respectively. We are the premiere MW program, we should be able to get an event setup that brings in the top kids from Ohio and the MW to compete. Why would a kid like Holts or Harley come to the OSU camp when they already have big offers, and our camp isnt anything special in regards to competition or buzz?

Came away from a visit to Indiana very impressed by the new facilities & the attention paid to him by the coaches... His top priority will be good academics & then how well he fits into the program... Indiana is one of his top 5 but the piece doesn't list the others... No rush & no time table...

Holts had only played defense until last season when he made the switch to OT... He's already a specimen but has the frame to carry 300+ lbs & maintain his athleticism... Holts calls the Cincy facilities far & away the best he's seen...

Scout $ - Holts Lands USC Offer
By Allen Trieu
Posted Feb 25, 2010

More on his Southern Cal offer... After talking to the coaches, he was expecting it... He'll probably need to use an OV to see the program... He enjoyed his visit to Cincy last week & he's looking forward to seeing Va. Tech this weekend... No leader, no time table...

Really enjoyed the visit to junior day & the chance to spend some time with ex teammate Darren Evans... Holts final 4 are Va. Tech, Southern Cal, Ole Miss, & Cincy... Accompanied by their coach, he couldn't say enough good things about the Hokie program & the family atmosphere they have created... Holts will be back for the Spring game...
