'11 FL DB Jabari Gorman (Florida Signee)

Jabari staying home would be what I'd expect. Kind of reminds me of the Brandon Harris recruitment. We had a lot of momentum early but lost in the end. That seems to be the pattern with the south Florida guys we've recruited, if they wait till January or February more than likely they aren't going to come north.

I know that one game, win or lose, does little to influence a recruit's final choice but the Sugar Bowl spoke volumes to the potential for a recruits ability to fine playing time in the secondary. I hated seeing the DBs getting hurting, dealing with cramps, etc. But a recruit should be able to see the depth issues with Chim leaving, health issues, etc. Just food for thought.

Eh. Harris' momentum came at the end, whereas it seemed we had the mo' early on. If he picks UF, I won't be too bummed...great player but obviously wasn't leaving the state.

Definitely. Too bad Jabari already made his choice :(

LAKE BUENA VISTA -

Monsignor Pace four-star safety Jabari Gorman will be one of at least eight high school football stars to announce their commitments Wednesday night during the 2011 Under Armour All-America Game in St. Petersburg.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Gorman, who is listed on the Under Armour roster as being from Miramar, is down to three finalists.

"I am going to commit at the game," Gorman said Sunday at the Under Armour practice at ESPN's Wide World of Sports. "I am down to three schools right now Miami, Ohio State and Florida.

"I am leaning toward Ohio State and Florida right now. I just can't wait to announce it because I've pretty much made my decision."
