Scout $ - Holliman Is One Of Florida's Finest

3/17

By The Bank...has offers from Minnesota, Kansas State, Maryland and Louisville...hoping for offers from Ohio State, Oregon and West Virginia...also hearing from the Big 3...will take visits.

Cash and Holliman as a safety class....wowzahs. Love how this kid attacks the ball and goes for it at it's highest point. He's got a ton of range and covers center field in a blink of an eye. Plenty physical. It would be nice to get an early offer in and potentially wrap him up early. Add the possibility of a corner class of Grant/Gambrell...sounds great, let's get it.

One of the top DBs in the country and no offers yet from in-state schools Miami, FL or Florida...

I couldn't let this go as you're the one that usually gets on a person for something like this. Is FL or Florida the same school? Did you mean Florida State when you typed just Florida? That couldn't be because he has an offer from Florida State an in-state school. :)

The FL is used to differentiate between Miami FL and Miami OH

The state of Florida has seven safeties in the ESPNU 150. - ESPN

Top prospects

Gerrod Holliman (Miami/Miami Southridge)
Ht.: 6-0 | Wt.: 188 pounds | Stars: 4 | S rank: 3 | ESPNU 150 rank: 46
College: Undecided
He may not hold the major offers shared by the other ESPNU 150 safeties, but we feel Holliman should because he is the total package. His great range, length, deep coverage skills and instincts are all coveted at the position in college. Plus, Holliman seems to consistently be around the ball making plays and still has room to bulk up.
