Oh, for chrissake, Thump... Haven't you ever looked at a baseball box score before? :tongue2: That's how it's always been done, at least so long as I can remember (We'll have to ask BB73 if it's been that way since the beginning of time...).

It's not a decimal representation, sure, but who cares? It's just the convention that's used...

(And if you wanna get all technical, it should be 2.3333333333333333333333333... ad infinitum :biggrin: )

I knew there was a reason I read all 31 pages of this thread. :biggrin:

In the earliest box scores that I can recall, which were of course made before ink was invented, they marked in fractions that were hard to decipher.
